Treatment of Urinary Incontinence :

Treatment of urinary incontinence will depend on the cause of the problem.

If the cause of urinary incontinence can’t be determined from the history and physical exam certain tests will need to be performed such as:

  • Xrays
  • Pelvic ultrasounds,
  • Urodynamic tests

In most aging females and those that have had multiple pregnancies/vaginal deliveries, one of the best ways to treat the urinary incontinence is

Treatment with ThermiVa (radiofrequency) Another good treatment is the O shot(PRP injection) with or without combining it with ThermiVa.

Other holistic treatment modalities are :

  • Diet,
  • exercise,
  • Cessation of smoking and alcohol consumption
  • Stress exercises and employing behavior techniques

If the cause of Urinary Incontinence is more serious options include:

– Surgery (bladder suspension, artificial urinary devices)

– Catheters

– Medications

– Hormones (topical estrogen, testosterone)

– Stem cell injections
