What is ThermiSmooth Face®?

ThermiSmooth Face® is a non-invasive temperature-controlled radiofrequency treatment for facial skin tightening/facial rejuvenation. Over a series of 3-5 treatments, Dr. Roba can use the ThermiSmooth Face® handpiece to diminish the appearance of fine facial lines and wrinkles (like crow’s feet), treat under eye bags, and even lift the eyelids and brow!

How does ThermiSmooth Face® Work?

The ThermiSmooth Face® treatment introduces a gentle heat into the skin by maneuvering a topical radiofrequency handpiece to elevate the temperature of the skin to a specific endpoint that has been clinically proven to increase collagen and blood flow to the treatment area. Collagen is the building block of the skin (think of the metal scaffolding that’s laid into concrete) and as we age we continue to lose collagen. Signs of collagen loss in the face include crepey (Paper-mache) like skin beneath the eyes, eyelid laxity, and the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles to match our common facial expressions.

Who is a good candidate for this treatment?

Patients with mild to moderate fine lines and wrinkles, minor eyelid hooding, as well as crepey skin can benefit from a series of ThermiSmooth Face® treatments.
