Using only a local anesthetic, the ThermiTight® injectable radiofrequency electrode can offer the ThermiBreast® treatment which delivers radiofrequency energy beneath the skin into the breast tissue and heats the skin to a therapeutic temperature. As a result of this, collagen production in the breast tissue ensues, and the surrounding area tightens leading to a perkier and smoother appearance of the breasts!
Who is a good candidate for this treatment?
ThermiBreast® is best suited for patients in good, general, health without a significant amount of breast ptosis (sagging). During your initial consultation, Dr. Roba will determine if you are a candidate for this treatment, as ThermiBreast® is not suited for all patients. Generally speaking, if your nipples sag about an inch or less, you may be a candidate for this procedure. Virtually any size breast and degree of sagging will see some improvement from this treatment, but it may not be enough if the sagging is more than mild. While some tightening can be seen immediately after the procedure, peak results are seen around 3 months after the treatment like ThermiTight®.
What is the downtime/recovery involved with ThermiBreast®?
Patients should expect some mild swelling, bruising, and soreness the day after their ThermiBreast® procedure. Patients should be able to resume daily activities the following day.
